How this advice is reached

The selector does no magic. It asks exactly the four questions that matter with EARMOR, because every model in the M31 and M32 series uses the same cups, the same attenuation and the same sound amplification. You only pay for two things: how the muff gets onto your head, and whether comms are included.

Question 1: do you wear a helmet?

If you wear a helmet with ARC rails you always end up at an H model. A normal headband under a helmet pinches, and after an hour you take the thing off. If your helmet has no standard rails you need an adapter, or you go in-ear. Without a helmet this whole branch drops away and the headband models remain.

Question 2: do you use a radio?

This is the question where most people lose money. Anyone who uses no radio but buys an M32 because the microphone might be handy later pays for something that stays silent. For most, later never comes. If you do use a radio you need a PTT adapter alongside the headset; the selector says so straight away.

Questions 3 and 4: Bluetooth and preference

If you want music or phone calls and no radio, the M300T surfaces: it has Bluetooth and often costs less than the M31. The last question only adjusts the edges: choose purely on price and the passive M06 appears, choose on fit with a railless helmet and the M20T earbuds come forward.

Why no pricier models are pushed

We earn the same percentage on every model, so there is no reason to steer you toward something more expensive. You see that in the outcomes: no helmet and no radio gets you the M31 rather than the M32, and choosing on price even surfaces a twelve euro model.
